College Baseball Fans…Welcome To North Downtown!

The 2013 College World Series is almost here! Traveling fans from Indiana, Louisiana State, Louisville, Mississippi State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Oregon State, UCLA, and beyond…we cannot wait for you to see what we have going on in North Downtown. It’s going to be a blast!

Typecast Recast

This is one of the coolest things to hit our area in a while: Typecast Recast. The project seeks artists to do installations along 12th Street, resulting in a public display from Douglas to Mike Fahey Streets. We truly cannot wait to see this take shape!

Typecast RecastĀ seeks 6-10 artists, with individual commissions ranging from $5,000 to $8,500! Check out their site for more information on the project and how to submit an application.

The Card!

We are very excited to announce that the North Downtown Card is now available! It’s a way to show your support for some great North Downtown businesses and save some cash in the process. Check out how to get yours by clicking on “The Card” tab above, and happy saving!

Transit Alternatives Info And August 28 Meeting

The Central Omaha Transit Alternatives Analysis is a project working toward the future of Omaha transit. The workshops and input received now will dictate what’s to come. What can you do? We’re glad you asked!

If you are unfamiliar with the project, go to the Alternative Analysis site for general info on the project.

Then head over the Omaha Talks Transit site to share your ideas.

And last but certainly not least, head to the public workshop at The Old Mattress Factory on August 28 at 5:30pm. We hope to see you there!
